Amazing sums up what we think of the styling transformation of our townhouse in Hobart. We were sceptical that the benefits of styling of our empty townhouse would outweigh the cost given that, from all accounts, it was and still is a sellers’ market. Were we wrong!! It’s fair to say I was expecting a nice surprise from the styling, after all, it was a very blank canvas and seemed like a good plan to fill an empty house. I snapped some empty ‘before’ shots on my phone before I left on Tuesday night.

The transformation is simply phenomenal. I had no idea what it would/could look like, but Adam, your reviews speak volumes so I trusted in you. As I walked through, I shed a tear and I now realise what I have been trying to achieve in getting it tidied up and ready for sale – doing the old lady (the house, not my mum) a bit of justice before I hand her over to someone else to enjoy. A modest little home in a less-than-affluent suburb can indeed shine, and you’ve brought it to life in a way it’s probably never seen (in a way that very few houses have ever seen in this suburb probably!). 

I’m stoked about it all, but my favourite room is the back bedroom; a room I have previously used as a junk room for the 4 years I lived in the house. It was the least light, and didn’t really have much going for it and was piled with boxes of things I didn’t really care about. I am thrilled with how it all looks (love the blue cockie!), and if I were living in the house as it is now, I’d choose that room as mine. 

Anyway, just wanted to thank you profusely for your efforts so far. Viewing it on Wednesday night was like a magical Christmas morning, I hope others  viewing the property soon feel the same 🙂
